I offer Re-wiring, fault finding/tracing or repair of Classic Car Electrical Systems partial wiring or fitting/making a complete new wiring loom or specialist builds. Maybe it needs to use modern wiring which has a classic cotton wrap look about it for originality. Maybe you want to custom build a classic for competition use such as I’ve done for some clients like the ‘49 Bristol used for hill climb or rally events.  I source wiring diagrams to work from, (if you don’t already have one for your classic), they are the map of it’s layout and help to speed up the work, and to be more accurate and correct. I am in contact with several suppliers of classic car wiring and electrical parts/components.

Some of the projects I have worked on include a Triumph Dolomite for Hill climb events, Triumph Spitfire and Stag, MG, Jaguar Mark IV, S Type, XK150, E Type, 1920’s Rolls Royce 20/25 and ‘29 Phantom, Bentley, Alvis, Bristol, Jensen Interceptor, Lancia, Riley, Austin, Wolseley,  a custom built 1954 Austin FX3 Hearse! Chevrolet Corvette, Pontiac Trans am Ford Escape Hybrid, a 2005 Corvette with a transmission electronic fault, which had been to Main Dealers in Italy and Germany who couldn’t repair it! ….. Yes I did!

Tracing and repairing various types of electrical faults on vehicles of all ages from a 1930's Studebaker to a 2014 Ford Mustang and many things in between. For the modern ones I have American Diagnostic tools, including main dealer access for software downloads and programming. For the older classics I have hand tools, test meters, oscilloscope, fingers and a brain! I have a vast collection of wiring diagrams too, with access to many more. I have owned 14 different USA cars myself. I’ve worked with Barry Dufty of Specialist Autoparts in Yeovil, North American Motor Company in Farnborough, Bill Sheppard Mustang in Surrey, The Mustang Workshop in Hampshire and many individual customers.
